Last Saturday, February 23, the members of SSAC got together (with a bunch of other people) for Lance's 30th birthday celebration. Surprise was the mission of the day, and indeed, the guest of honor was surprised. And although supper was not the objective of the day, supper was consumed. Supper was a familiar, yet no less delicious, bounty of Portillo's, provided by Megan. A good time was had by all, and many people were confounded by the yapping of a small dog when there was no dog present. Yes, my son is a toddler of many talents, perhaps he will be a vet, or a dog trainer for blockbuster movies.
In other SSAC news, the next SSAC meeting was discussed and a tentative location has been planned. Once we have finalized the restaurant, we will have to contact the Official SSAC Coordinator to come to a suitable time for all parties involved.
